The world premiere of 'The Story of Studio Ghibli - An Immersive Art Exhibition' has opened on Shanghai's West Bund! 🎊 The exhibition includes 3 major pavilions and 24 sections, covering an area of 2,800 square meters. It offers a comprehensive retrospective of Studio Ghibli's classic animated works through a combination of physical scenery and digital lighting technology, bringing an immersive artistic feast to fans of Hayao Miyazaki's anime. 👍 A six-meter-tall Totoro statue stands at the entrance of the exhibition hall, striking a classic pose from the movie. The whimsical world tour of Studio Ghibli officially begins here. 🌸 The exhibition displays 600 books from Studio Ghibli's collection. The onsite props have been meticulously crafted by more than 10 Japanese artisans, realistically recreating scenes from classic Hayao Miyazaki animations such as 'Spirited Away', 'My Neighbor Totoro', 'Howl's Moving Castle', and 'Porco Rosso', making visitors feel as if they are in a dreamy animated world. 🌺 In addition to paying tribute to classic works, the exhibition also debuts previously unreleased stills from Hayao Miyazaki's Oscar-winning new work 'How Do You Live?' after 'Spirited Away'.
