#chinatrip Beautiful place to visit with lots of greenery, flowers. A great place for taking Beautiful photos. Students under 17 free entry, show passport or student identification as proof. For adults, please bring passport in order to buy entrance tickets. They are very strict on security hence passport is a sure way to buy tickets successfully. Be prepared to get your bags checked by security personnel too. Yu Garden surroundings have many shops selling local delicacies, souvenirs and eateries. Absolute must-see for any tourist in Shanghai. The garden itself was originally built in 1559 by a Ming dynasty architect. They where bigger than I expected and one can easily spend 1 hour walking around. We also enjoyed the more modern shopping areas surrounding the garden, built to match its style.
