Featuring a laid-back vibe, the Qiantan Hotel

Architectural Design| Checking out the hotel cases designed by En Design, I recently went on a business trip to Shanghai's Qiantan area and discovered a hotel produced by En Design. Without a second thought, I decided to stay here. The front desk guy told me that they only started receiving guests in August. Every corner is very much in En's style, and I was drawn to their design because their office building is in the style I like. I am also learning from them, practicing subtraction in design to give the space a more cohesive feel. I found out that the hotel's theme is 'Artistic Freedom, Elegance from the Heart,' extending the concept of the treasure pavilion to the city. Inspired by the 'tree shadows in Shanghai's alleys,' it brings new Chinese humanistic art into the living space, slowing down the pace and pursuing the aesthetics of life. Upon entering the lobby, one can't help but stop in their tracks. The wooden partitions are punctuated with round holes of various sizes arranged in a pattern that, from a distance, creates an effect reminiscent of tree shadows. ●Shanghai Qiantan Ya Chen Shang Hotel
