📷A new exhibition has opened at the Shanghai Dongyi Art Museum! This exhibition focuses on the Venetian school represented by Titian, with exhibits mainly from the collection of the Uffizi Gallery in Italy, including 49 classic works by masters of the Venetian school such as Titian, Giorgione, Tintoretto, Veronese, and the elder Palma. 🌸The highlight of the many exhibits is Titian's world-famous painting 'Flora'. This exhibition is also the first appearance of this work in mainland China, allowing the audience to experience its unique artistic charm up close. 🌺Titian, known as the 'father of Western oil painting' and one of the three greats of the Venetian school, excelled in portrait, landscape, ancient mythology, and religious subject paintings. 'Flora', with its delicate brushwork and unique female image, demonstrates Titian's extraordinary interpretation of the idealized female, perfectly embodying the Renaissance pursuit of beauty and the pure longing for love. 👍The exhibition is divided into six sections: 'Venice as a Theatre', 'Venetian Goddesses', 'Portraits of Knights, Artists, and Children', 'Mythology and Classics', 'Warriors and Battlefields', and 'Depictions of Nature and Everyday Life'.
