'Titian·Flora' is the third major exhibition in collaboration with the Uffizi Gallery, which boasts an invincible collection, at the Shanghai Dongyi Art Museum. It focuses on the Venetian school of art, represented by the master artist Titian, and displays 49 artistic masterpieces. Exhibition highlights: 1. The 16th century was the golden age of the Venetian school, with Titian, the most representative painter, becoming the leading figure of the Venetian school before he was 30, and also revered as the father of Western oil painting. His exquisite use of color had a profound impact on the entire Western art world. 2. Flora Among the 49 works from the Uffizi Gallery collection exhibited this time, more than ten are leaving the Uffizi Gallery for the first time, with Titian's famous work 'Flora' being the most eye-catching. It is the artist's perfect expression of the idealized female image, a pursuit of beauty during the Renaissance and a perfect embodiment of pure love. Titian's 'Flora' was the first in Western painting history to create a youthful female image brimming with vitality, and he pioneered a new painting genre of 'beauty portraits' with his half-length portraits of idealized young women.
