Xiangyang Park: An old park in the heart of Magic City that has been renamed four times

Xiangyang Park, located at No. 1008 Middle Huaihai Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai. The site was originally farmland and graveyards. In August 1941, it was decided to build a park here, and upon completion, it was initially named Lanweina Park. In July 1943, it was renamed Taishan Park. In January 1946, it was renamed Linsen Park. On May 28, 1950, it was finally named Xiangyang Park. Xiangyang Park has both regular and natural layouts, and it fully utilizes hedges to create a 'small within large' effect in the spaces of regular and natural arrangements, featuring the characteristics of French garden style.
