Sunday stroll: Shaanxi South & Xinle Rds

For Sunday afternoon, nothing’s feels more joyful than walking around and explore new areas of the city. Streets around Xuhui are absolutely beautiful. So many trees and many old style architectural buildings that are considered cultural heritage, but only few belong to Shanghai’s Municipal Government (indicated with plaque). Shaanxi South Rd is full of cute stores and tiny restaurants, that gives an impression of European style influence over traditional Chinese culture. On the other hand, Xinle Road is full of gorgeous little clothing shops that makes you feel in Paris. Many of these shops are vintage, very luxurious for an specific clientele. If you are planning for a shopping 🛍 day, come to this area. Even if you decide not to buy anything, walking around this area during a summer afternoon was quite refreshing. Gave me time to admire the decoration, so different between each shop. If you continue your way, you will find Xiangyang park close by.
