The art museum at the starting point of the west bank

It was built at the beginning of the last century, renamed Rihui Port Railway Station in 1937, and renamed Shanghai South Railway Station in 1958. In 2006, it was renamed Nanpu Railway Station, and on June 28, 2009, the old railway station was closed. The Shanghai Star Art Museum opened in 2022. The architecture of the Shanghai Star Art Museum was designed by Pritzker Prize winner, French architect Jean Nouvel. His design concept continues history without destroying the connectivity between architecture and history. The structure carries on the industrial style, and the entire lofty space does not have a single crossbeam, maximizing the indoor space area. The Shanghai Star Art Museum was founded in 2015 and is a private art museum. Whispers in the Mist: In the 1990s, I entered the 'South Station' several times to transport donated materials. In 2017, I walked into the 'South Station' site from the west bank, but unfortunately, I did not leave any images. After the renovation of the Star Art Museum, a locomotive was preserved. I found an afternoon to take a set of photos to make up for the regret of the past, and then sat on the wooden boxes in the leisure area outside the museum, which was converted from the original stacking yard. A gentle breeze from the river came, watching the large ships slowly passing by on the river and the green industrial cranes on the riverside, different from the Long Museum, perhaps I could pick up the scattered memories of this area.
