Shanghai has great weather on spring weekends, perfect for a stroll in the park and enjoying the flowers! This time, I visited the unique romantic Ferris wheel in Shanghai and the Gucun Park where you can see the delicate cherry blossoms! 🌸 The cherry blossoms are in full bloom now, rush over! Sharing my travel tips below👇🏻 🚇Transportation: The parking lot is easily full on weekends, but it's quite convenient to get there by subway. Take Line 7 or Line 15 to Gucun Park Station, Exit 5, and walk straight for 5 minutes to reach Gate 2. 📍Location: Gucun Park, Gates 1/2/3 ⏰Opening hours: 6:00-18:00, no entry after 16:30 🎫Ticket: 20 yuan per person 🌸Cherry Blossom Viewing Route Tips: ❶ Enter from Gate 2: To the right, there's a sparse area of plum and cherry trees, not too many, just take a quick look. ❷ Turn left after entering Gate 2: Enter 'Yuelin Avenue', and you're going the right way if you see dinosaurs and gorillas, then cross the 'Cherry Joy Bridge'. ❸ Cherry Blossom Forest Station: There are wooden walkways and little cabins, the cherry blossoms here are in full bloom, very dense, in large patches, but it's very crowded. If you want to take portraits, you can only shoot from a low angle or bring a chair or ladder to get a good shot. ❹ Ferris Wheel: Continue forward (to the right) to reach it, where you can see Shanghai's unique Ferris wheel with romantic pink cherry blossoms. There are two fully bloomed pink cherry trees in front of the Ferris wheel, creating a fairy-tale-like beauty, with a blurred background for photography. ❺ Fuying Forest: Further ahead, there's another patch of pink cherry blossoms, not as dense as the Cherry Blossom Forest Station. ❻ Gate 3: The white, super-large Yuying cherry blossoms are in full bloom, entering the peak season! Similarly crowded, you also need a chair or ladder, very spectacular and beautiful. ⏰Limited time, recommend three photo spots: 👉🏻Cherry Blossom Forest Station wooden walkway pink cherry blossoms, Ferris wheel, Gate 3 white cherry blossoms. ‼️Tips: ① The park is really big, and each spot is a bit far from the others! It basically takes about 2 hours to walk around and take photos. ② For those who want to take portraits, just rush over when the park opens. Following the cherry blossom festival, you won't be able to bring long ladders and high stools into the park anymore!
