As I stepped into the lobby, I felt as though I had been transported back to a bygone era. [Three] The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They provided me with a comprehensive room service menu. I had my dinner [Tableware] sorted and opted for a recommended specialty dish. The texture and taste of the food exceeded my expectations. I was quite thrilled 😁. [Two] In the morning, we had breakfast 🍳 at a small restaurant. The menu was not extensive, and guests were not allowed to wear slippers, so I was asked to change my footwear before entering. [Three] However, the highlight was the evening performance by the elderly jazz band 🎺. There, we experienced the glitz and glamour of Shanghai nightlife. Many foreigners also attended the performance, possibly drawn by the historical atmosphere of the Peace Hotel. Although the performance ended at midnight and we only arrived at 11, there were no vacant seats. Nevertheless, the ambiance was fantastic, especially with a glass of red wine 🍷 in hand. 🗒 In conclusion: Regardless of your purpose in Shanghai, choosing the right accommodation is crucial. If you prioritize modern facilities and service quality, I recommend staying at a new hotel 🏩.
