Strolling along the Bund in Shanghai at night, I've traversed Jiujiang Road countless times. To my surprise, it's equally captivating during the day! Not only does it boast a resplendent church, but it also features incredibly retro streets and offers an excellent vantage point for capturing the Oriental Pearl Tower! I recommend visiting in the morning when it's less crowded~. ⭐Recommended spots: ✅First stop: Holy Trinity Church 📍201 Jiujiang Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai The entire church is constructed of red brick, exhibiting a classic Gothic style. It's particularly striking when viewed from the crossroads! ❤️Currently, no reservation is needed. It's open only during two Sunday services. Orderly queues are formed for entry~ 🕰️Entry times: First service 7:30-8:00, Second service 9:30-10:00 👉Service times: First service 8:00-9:00, Second service 10:00-11:00 ✅Second stop: "Jiujiang Road Jiangxi Middle Road" Bus Stop This stop is very minimalist, featuring only a European-style signpost. However, the backdrop is a historical building with a red brick🧱structure. Replace a few Chinese characters, and you can pretend you're in Europe~ ✅Third stop: Contrast of Ancient and Modern Architecture The entire Jiujiang Road is lined with old buildings, but the backdrop is towering skyscrapers. The juxtaposition of old and new is truly awe-inspiring! ✅Fourth stop: Jiujiang Road/Sichuan Middle Road The "United Building" at the corner is steeped in history, with a rich European architectural style. The play of light and shadow makes it a great spot for photography~ You can even capture a captivating frame through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the building across the street! ✅Fifth stop: Jiujiang Road/Bund Intersection At the corner of the "China Merchants Bank", there's a pedestrian crossing, and historical buildings on both sides.
