Shanghai Film Park, also known as Chedun Film Base and Shanghai Film City, is a place for filming TV shows and movies, located in Chedun Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai. It was established in 1992 and serves primarily for film and television shooting, while also offering sightseeing, cultural entertainment, and leisure vacation functions as a comprehensive tourist area. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The Shanghai Film Park mainly consists of Nanjing Road, West Nanjing Road, Shikumen Lilong, Moller Villa, Shanghai Grand Theatre, German Villas, Spanish Buildings, British Villas, Churches, Peace Square, Suzhou River Steel Bridge, and other film and television shooting landscapes, as well as studios, costume warehouses, prop warehouses, and set factories. It is an antique architectural complex with the culture of the Republic of China as its background. The fully furnished and realistic scenic spots that have been built provide ideal filming scenes for film and television creation, and also open up a new path for people to revisit the colorful charm of old Shanghai. Dozens of films and hundreds of TV series have been shot here.
