Qinglong Tower was built in the Tang Dynasty, rebuilt in the Song and Ming Dynasties, and was destroyed by war in the Qing Dynasty, leaving only the tower body. The former Qinglong Town, known as "Little Hangzhou" during the Tang and Song Dynasties, was Shanghai's earliest trading port, a giant town on the Maritime Silk Road, and the vicissitudes of life, the former glory is no longer to be found. - 【Cultural Celebrities of Qinglong Town】 Calligraphy master Xiangyang Mifu once served as the town supervisor of Qinglong Town. Male god Su Dongpo also once came to Qingpu. The deputy prime minister Zhang Che (Zi Zhifu) who sang and responded to Su Shi's poems and his descendants thrived in Zhangyan Old Street not far from Qinglong Temple. There are now renovated old houses and old streets - Zhangyan Village Cultural Museum, Chenghuang Temple and four ancient bridges. In the afternoon of winter, sitting on the bridge of Chenghuang Temple, basking in the warm sun, is quite comfortable.
