The only temple in Shanghai city that worships Confucius - Shanghai Confucius Temple

Shanghai Confucius Temple has a history of more than 700 years, it was first built in the Yuan Dynasty, and after several relocations, it was rebuilt in the fifth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty at No. 215, Wenmiao Road, Huangpu District. The architectural complex includes the courtyards on the north-south axis of the Confucius Temple and the Xuegong, as well as the gardens in the east. The main buildings include the Lingxing Gate, Dacheng Gate, Dacheng Hall, Chongsheng Shrine, Minglun Hall, Zunjing Pavilion, Kuixing Pavilion, etc. The gate was closed when I went, and I couldn't get inside for a tour. The surrounding blocks were also very quiet.
