The Sassoon House, a building with a hundred years of history, is located in the historical and cultural area of the Bund in Shanghai, west of the Huangpu River and south of the Suzhou River. The building was initially completed in 1921, jointly designed by the British company Dent & Co. and Ying Tsz-yun, and built for the French businessman Victor Sassoon. It exhibits an eclectic architectural style and is one of Dent & Co.'s important works in modern Shanghai. The Sassoon House has had various uses in history, from the original Sassoon & Co. and the Shanghai Trust office, to later residential housing and corporate offices. It is one of the earliest buildings in Shanghai to adopt reinforced concrete structures and install elevators. In 2014, the building was closed for a seven-year renovation and reopened in 2022, restoring its glory. The building integrates various business formats, restaurants, cafes, art spaces, open-air bars, which can keep you for a whole day, a good place to take pictures
