Steel Sculpture Park

Post-industrial ecological landscape park (Steel Sculpture Park) is located at No. 101 Changjiang West Road, Baoshan District, with a total area of 53,000 square meters. The design makes full use of the abandoned factory buildings, dust towers, warehouses, stockyards and other industrial elements with historical significance on the site, and transforms and utilizes them to reflect the historical context. The post-industrial ecological landscape park used to be the Shanghai Ferroalloy Factory, which was too polluted. The government transformed it into a park using its original resources. The park consists of the entrance landscape area, urban tree-lined roads, lawn area, original industrial vegetation protection area, children's activity area, park management center area, lawn tree-lined roads and core landscape area, including the central water landscape area, water plant purification area, garden display area, etc. It is equipped with tea rooms, stone cage walls and other rest facilities, mountain bike trails, skateboards, sand pits, trampolines, climbing, grass slope slides and other sports facilities. The plant landscaping mainly uses native drought-tolerant, energy-themed plants, combined with abandoned industrial building materials and sculptures, to form a diverse landscape. Use the density change of trees to enclose different types of spaces and create landscape nodes.
