Qiuxia Garden: The most beautiful time of the year!

When it comes to deep autumn, most parts of the country have started a colorful painting style, with forests dyed in layers and landscapes like paintings. Returning to Shanghai, I always want to find some classical colors, so I think of Jiading's Qiuxia Garden - this garden can represent 'Once autumn comes, Jiading becomes a beautiful city'. Qiuxia Garden, one of the five major gardens in Shanghai, 'Qiuxia' is derived from Wang Bo's 'Tengwang Pavilion Preface' 'The falling sunset and the lonely bird fly together, the autumn water and the long sky are the same color', which embodies the original garden owner's wish of 'not falling into the blue sky'. It is formed by the merger of three private gardens from the Ming Dynasty, Gong's Garden, Shen's Garden, Jin's Garden and the City Temple, with a total area of 45.36 acres. The garden is divided into four scenic areas: Taohuatan Scenic Area (formerly Gong's Garden), Ningxia Pavilion Scenic Area (formerly Shen's Garden), Qingjing Pond Scenic Area (formerly Jin's Garden) and City Temple Scenic Area. The garden has pavilions, towers, beautiful pools and winding paths, dense forests and bamboo, artificial mountains and strange caves, compact layout and ingenious workmanship. There are gardens in the garden, and there are scenes outside the scene, known as 'urban mountain forest'. The autumn color of Qiuxia Garden comes from the red of the chicken claw maple. There are many chicken claw maples concentrated around the Suihan Pavilion. They are planted by the water. Several trees are deep red and light yellow. The spread branches and leaves can shade half of the pool. Walking in the autumn garden, there will be two emotions. One is autumn thoughts, the beauty of the coldness of the rain hitting the residual lotus, the withered lotus stems, the withered banana leaves, and the falling willow leaves, which makes people sad, which is often referred to as 'since ancient times, autumn is lonely'. Another is autumn drunk, the maple fragrance dyed red, the ginkgo is bright yellow, the autumn leaves are quietly beautiful, the tree shadows are mottled, making people 'drunk and don't know the way home'.
