Another must visit spot when coming to Shanghai, the famed Nanjing Road pedestrian mall that stretches for something like 14kms across the Central city area. The architecture is striking and reminiscent of a bygone era of neon signboards and art decor design structures. There's something for everyone young and old here and even features a mall just for kids. There are modern pet cafes, bars and food courts interspersed with traditional restaurants on the main strip and one street over.
