If you’re a wine enthusiast, Le Coq Wine and Bistro is the place for you! This establishment has hundreds of imported wines from all over the world and delicious French cuisine to pair it with. Having 4 popular locations across Shanghai, I visited the Xintiandi venue. The restaurant is moderately sized with attractive decor, to include an illuminating light fixture that stretches halfway across the restaurant’s ceiling and an exceptional wine display that extends from ceiling to floor and wall to wall. The dim lighting allows for an intimate evening, as each table is garnished with fresh red roses, candlelight, and comfortable seating. For dinner, I tried the Half Crispy Chicken, King Prawn Pasta, and Cheesecake. The food and service were equally admirable.
