Oishii desu !

Quite not sure whether should I call this dish as a Scottish one just because of the name or from its origin to be called as British. Scotch eggs 🍳 also got their name from its making process of 'scotching'. Situated in the heart of Jingan, it has nice outdoor seating 🪑 which is quite suited on a non-windy day. The process of making need some time and patience. First boil two eggs and save another two for mixing up and making the patty stick together when deep frying🫕. It needs pork sausage along with corn flakes mashed up to form the outer layer. Then cover the eggs using this and dip in egg then to flour for a crispy outer layer. It is a perfect morning breakfast, well you gotta prepare overnight then 😛 #shanghailife #tripfoodie#summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Animal park

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park

My friend and I went and were pleasantly surprised. The enclosures for some of the animals were smaller than I would like. The shows were quite good and the lines not too long. We didn’t do any of the rides though so I can’t comment on them. The bathrooms were easy to find and clean. The map was bilingual but the schedule was Chinese only. If it had been bilingual it would have been much more convenient. Staff were very pleasant and it was a nice day #summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park

There was a scheduled live shows (whales, walrus, dolphin). Make sure to check the given map and find the QR code for the show schedule. Lots of rides for kids. And a cable car if you need to get on the other side of the park quickly. Also, I really enjoyed the roller coaster! It was long and super fast. You'd need raincoat for the whale show and water ride. They sell disposable raincoats inside the park for 15 rmb. Also, you can bring food inside the park. #summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park

First time visiting the park with low expectation. Quite a surprise to find lot of activities suitable for kids but some of the amusement have to wait for at least 45-minutes, this is event when the park only about 20% fill what makes it worst is the air circulation in the waiting area make things not comfortable. The center piece attraction is the Dolphin show. Quite tricky with the pricing as there is an added fee of RMB 90 person if you want to jump the queue. Overall is good for kids. Great day out at the Park. I petted the dolphins for a RMB 350fee. What a treat. We enjoyed the orca and dolphin shows very much. Since we did not plan to do rides, we watched both shows twice. The penguin, seal pavilions were great too. The down side is that the shark aquarium seems a little small for some of the sharks. Similarly, some of the exhibits in the Arctic pavillon were also a tad small for those specific animals. Perhaps these habitats can be upgraded soon. The other animals looked happy and active, so we really enjoyed ourselves. #summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park (Chinese: 上海海昌海洋公园) is a theme park owned by Haichang Ocean Park Holdings and located in the Chinese municipality of Shanghai. The grand opening of the park took place on November 16, 2018. The park is Haichang Ocean Park Holdings' second theme park in the country. Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park is themed to the ocean and its marine life and features rides, animal exhibits, an onsite hotel, and shows. Half of the park is themed to a tundra environment, which includes a conspicuous snow-covered mountain, while the other half of the park is themed to a tropical environment, which includes an equally conspicuous volcano. The two halves are connected by a gondola lift and two large pedestrian bridges that cross a canal. The theme park's flagship attractions include a launch roller coaster, a whale shark exhibit, a river rapids ride, and a killer whale show and exhibit. #beautifulhotel#bestislandtraveltowns#romanticrestaurant#seafoodfeast#summervacation#beachvacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer
