Foodie diary 5: Best veggie meals

Indian Kitchen is by far one of me favorite restaurants in Shanghai. Either to go or order 2-3 times a month. This particular branch is located on the side of Fudan University, very close to Wujiaochang’s downtown. Indian Kitchen has a varied menu for vegetarians. Samosas are delicious and bigger in size than any other you can find, chicken samosas are nice but veggie samosas are the best. Chapati 🫓 naan and paratha are also delicious, independently the curry you chose. This time, we ordered chapati. Now, keep in mind Indian chapati is different from Kenyan chapati 😉 For curries, my favorite is butter chicken. Chicken masala is also quite good, either with basvathi rice or any 🫓. We also ordered the veggie soup, that’s was quite tasty, but needed a bit more in quantity. For drinks, masala chai (first pic) was very nice, but too small for my taste. Maybe two will be enough for this thristy soul.
