The horse riding route is longer, and there are sections where the horses will trot all the way, which is more fun to ride. The route will pass through a large lake and an ancient site; blue sky and white clouds + green grassland + majestic Qilian Mountain, it is really beautiful! You can see the majestic Qilian Mountain and Yanzhi Mountain from afar wherever you stand on the grassland. When you turn from the main road onto the road to the racecourse, you will see large fields of golden rapeseed flowers. The bright colors are so eye-catching that you can't help but stop and take a look. It is about a three-hour drive from downtown Zhangye and there are relatively few tourists. If you are not in a hurry, it is recommended that you stay here for one night and enjoy the bright stars at night. Tour description: 1 The horses drink water at about 4:30 in the afternoon. Since the time is not fixed, it is recommended to arrive at the "General Cavalry Camp" in the scenic area in advance and wait. 2 There are two horse riding spots inside and outside the scenic area: the horse riding spot inside the scenic area is at the "General's Camp". Horse riding here can only be done within the scenic area. There are 3 routes, the shortest of which only takes half an hour. There are route diagrams and prices at the horse riding spot. 3 The horse riding spot outside the scenic area is opposite the ticket office and has 4 routes (see Figure 18). The horses at this point can also be ridden into the scenic area. If you do not want to enter the scenic area, you can choose to ride outside.
