Please check the latest information in advance. 🌸 Accommodation: There are many hotels in Seda County. We recommend choosing accommodation with heating and hot water to cope with the cold in winter. There is also accommodation in the Buddhist Academy, such as Larung Hotel, but the conditions are relatively simple. ✅ Winter travel tips: • Seda is about 3,800 meters above sea level and has a plateau monsoon climate. The average annual temperature is around 0°C. The temperature in winter can drop to around -10°C, so you need to prepare enough warm clothes, such as down jackets, sweaters, thermal underwear, thick pants, scarves, hats, gloves, etc. • To prevent altitude sickness, you can take Rhodiola rosea oral liquid in advance, maintain a good attitude, and avoid strenuous exercise. • Respect local religious and cultural customs, such as not taking pictures of temples, monks, and Tibetans, and not climbing religious buildings. 🌸 Recommended travel routes: • 3-day itinerary: Chengdu - Kangding - Tagong Grassland - Seda Larung Gar Buddhist Academy - Larung Hotel. • Seda + Sichuan-Tibet Line 10-day tour, covering more attractions. ❤️ Food: Seda mainly serves Sichuan and Tibetan cuisine.
