fantastic place and a testimony of Korean History

Deoksugung boasts a beautiful mix of traditional Korean and late 19th century Western architecture inside its premises, which I think reflects the transition of Korea into a more modern version of itself, as well as touches of the West ushered in by Emperor Gojong back in the day. If you want to experience traditional Korean architecture and culture, I highly recommend this place. Take a slow walk and appreciate how this space was created and the stories it holds.
