An interesting architecture in Dongdaemun and this is the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, DDP for short, you can alight at Dongdaemun station and walk over easily. This area is know for its fashion and even wholesaler market which open throughout the night. There are also exhibitions halls inside and there are both ticketed and free events. DDP also stands for Dream, Design and Play and it welcomes artists, children and everyone else . It was also a filming location for a super popular Korean drama.
