Ihwa 🎨🖼️🖌️👩‍🎨

This was my eight trip to South Korea since 2006 when I came here first time as a backpacker, fell instantly in love with the country, the food and the people. Therefore I have come back regularly over the years to visit friends that I have come to know in Norway or China. However, it was my first time to visit Ihwa. We walked from Anguk and easily found the starting point of the village that is located on a hill. We did not have to walk far before we saw some of the murals that we were looking for 👀 we did a quite steep walk uphill and found a perfect little bar with a garden to share some wine before walking down the hill and on to the next adventure. The mural village is in the midst of a residential area so we could see a lot of elders hanging out on the street corners and benches around. #visitseoul
