Haemi-eupseong is a stone fortress from the Joseon Dynasty located in Eumnae-ri, Haemi-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. It was built in 1491 (22nd year of King Seongjong’s reign) and has a circumference of 1,800 m, a height of 5 m, and an area of ​​196,381 m2 inside the fortress. It was a place where a garrison commander was stationed and was responsible for defending the west coast. It has been abandoned for a long time, so some of the fortress walls have collapsed and buildings inside the fortress have been demolished.
