[Akita] Popular Inn Nyuto Onsenkyo Tsuru no Yu ♨️ Open-air bath in the snow ♨️

I've been curious about local hot springs ever since I found out about them. 📍Location: Tsuru no Yu, Nyuto Onsenkyo It was truly a different world❄️ Get off at Tazawako Station on the Shinkansen Take the bus from Tazawako Station to Alpa Komakusa Tsuru no Yu came to pick me up from there✨ It took about an hour from when I got off the Shinkansen, but even on the bus I was able to experience the snow country with the amount of snow and enjoyed it like an attraction🌈 The inn is a building that has been around since the Edo period The particularly popular "Honjin" has a waiting list of up to six months...!!! Here you can enjoy cooking using the hearth attached to the room. This time, I stayed in the newly built room "Higashi Honjin" at Tsuru no Yu, and I could feel the retro feel from the room, which I thought was ingenious☺️ The highlight of the baths is the "Nyuto Onsen" As the name suggests, the water is white, but there are four different springs with different qualities, called "Shiroyu", "Kuroyu", "Naka no Yu" and "Taki no Yu". The open-air baths are for women and mixed bathing. When you hear "mixed bathing", it may seem like a high hurdle, but women can move from the special changing room to the mixed bathing, and there is a path that connects to the mixed bathing, and the hot water is laid on the path, so they can move to the mixed bathing open-air bath without going outside😊👌 Seeing the hot spring flowers, I could feel the quality of the hot springs, and the Kuroyu and Shiroyu were all good, but the women's open-air bath was overwhelmingly the best🫣💕 It's sad that I can't take a photo of it!! ! ! ! The women's bath was better than the mixed bath in terms of the view of the snowy scenery that spread out before me 👀 Plus, the food was so delicious that it was the best 🍚 Akita's specialty kiritanpo hotpot, and because we were in the mountains, we had a lot of side dishes with mountain vegetables and river fish sashimi, and I was full!! ! This time, I went with JR East's JR Dynamic Rail Pack, and booked the accommodation and Shinkansen ticket. Nyuto Onsenkyo Tsuru no Yu is quite popular, and it's honestly quite difficult to book directly 💦 However, for some reason, with the JR Dynamic Rail Pack, you can sometimes book a room at "Higashi Honjin" or "Hanare Honjin"!! ! Moreover, the package is actually more economical than buying it separately from the Shinkansen🥰 What's more, if you use the above reservation method, you can get a free drink such as local sake or apple juice with your meal, and you can also get a gift such as a postcard, so it feels like a great deal💞 I really recommend this inn, and it was the best inn I've ever stayed at✨ #0yentravelFebruary2025 #Akita #ChyutoOnsenkyo
