Furthermore, on the other side you can look down at the valley floor, known as "Moomin Valley," a specialty of Akita Komagatake, where alpine plants bloom in abundance in the summer. The most common trekking routes on Akita Komagatake are the traverse course that leads to Kunimi Onsen, and the circular course from Yokodake to Yakemori to Yunomoriyama to the Akita Komagatake Hachigome parking lot. This time I tried the latter. And However, most people who climb Mt. Akita Komagatake seem to take the hiking course from the 8th station parking lot to Amidaike Pond, or the Kunimi Onsen traverse course, and I only met one other group of people going around Yokodake... The Yakimori point, as the name suggests, is a mysterious spot with a landscape that looks like another world, with not a single blade of grass, as if the forest had been burned down. The course from Yakimori to Yunomoriyama to the end point and parking lot is a climbing course. The mountain path is just rough, narrow and overgrown with grass, and the road is eroded, making it difficult to walk...
