On the day of the visit, we drove in from the Bronze W (North) entrance. Seeing the large 'W' at the entrance signifies that you are about to enter the University of Washington campus! After driving in, there is a large parking lot on the right, located next to the Burke Memorial-Washington State Museum (BRK) (parking fees apply). After parking, it takes about 30 minutes to walk along the main road to reach the library. Besides the Suzzallo Library, the campus also has many other historic buildings and libraries worth exploring. It is recommended to take the route from PACCAR Hall (PCAR) and enjoy the beautiful buildings and scenery along the way. The well-preserved architecture will make you slow down and appreciate the effort in maintaining these structures. Upon reaching Kane Hall (KNE), you will see a large plaza, and next to it is the famous Suzzallo Library. The grand Gothic architecture is stunning, and looking up from the entrance, you will see 18 columns, each with a statue of a famous figure such as Shakespeare, Da Vinci, and Plato. The campus is lush with greenery and features numerous distinctive buildings. Parking is not an issue on weekends and holidays, so it is recommended to visit during these times. Otherwise, it is advisable to use public transportation.

It was a short trip to Seattle and we visited Pike Place Market that was opened in 1907. We walked along the waterfront, visit the Seattle Aquarium, take a ride on the Seattle Great Wheel. Please check out their fresh oysters, Dungeness crab and seafood pasta. The Space Needle was built for the 1962 World’s Fair and is a symbol of Seattle. We took the elevator to the observation deck for panoramic view 😍 400 Broad St, Seattle, WA 98109 We also visited the museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) which was designed by Frank Gehry and founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2000. We explored exhibits on music, science fiction, and pop culture. 📍325 5th Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109 We also visited The Pink Door which is located nearby. We tried their signature Italian cuisine, lasagna and seafood risotto. The food were good and the price was reasonable💯 📍1919 Post Alley, Seattle, WA 98101 We also explored the Discovery Park. It is one of the Seattle's largest green space, formerly a military base known as Fort Lawton. We also visited the Fremont Neighborhood. We visited the Fremont Troll under the Aurora Bridge, explored quirky shops, and the Sunday market. Roasted Beef Sandwiches & Miso Clam Linguine 🥩The beef sandwich dipped in the sauce that comes with it elevates the taste to new levels, truly awakening the palate (the waiter specifically told us to dip the whole sandwich and eat it that way for an authentic experience). 🍴Next is the miso clam linguine. Initially, I thought the combination might be peculiar, but fortunately, it was a delightful surprise! I really didn't expect such a pairing! 🍸For the cocktails, you can order according to your preference. I asked for something sweet, and the bartender will inquire about the type of base you want. 🍮Vanilla Crème Brûlée is quite large, perfect for two people to share. The caramel is crispy and fragrant without being sticky, and the crème beneath is incredibly smooth and creamy, absolutely delicious! 📸Next is taking photos.
