A Fairytale Come to Life

#familytrips2024 Visiting Neuschwanstein Castle felt like walking into a fairytale. This famous castle, sitting high on a hill, offers amazing views and a peek into the lavish life of King Ludwig II. The tour took us through beautifully decorated rooms with detailed tapestries, grand chandeliers, and stunning murals that spark the imagination. At the end of the tour, we got to see the kitchen. It had the latest gadgets of its time, like a big stove, a sideboard, two spits (one large and one small), a built-in roasting oven with a plate warmer, a baking oven, a mortar, and a fish tank. Next to the kitchen were the pantry, with a built-in cupboard for dishes and a glass-partitioned room for the head chef, and the scullery. The kitchen’s advanced features for its era show how innovative the castle’s design was. Every part of Neuschwanstein Castle tells a story of luxury and elegance, making it a must-visit spot for any traveler. Our dream destination is to go to Hong Kong for my family trip as Hong Kong is paradise for food lovers, offering a wide variety of culinary delights. My family will enjoy it very much.
