One of our favorite winter destinations in Europe is the area around Neuschwanstein castle with many beautiful places in Germany & Austria within a very short driving distance 😍 During our trips (we did this exact trip 4 times already 🤣) there was plenty of time to relax and if we felt like it we could go on an adventure around the corner with the most amazing views! 1. Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany 🇩🇪 2. & 3. Heiterwanger See, Austria 🇦🇹 Within less than an hour you can walk around the lake 💦 4. Highline 179, Austria 🇦🇹 5. & 6. The area is also great for playing in the snow and winter sports ⛷️ 7. Garmisch Partenkirchen 💙 8. Eibsee, Germany 🇩🇪 The stone is called Hinkelstein 9. Geroldsee, Germany🇩🇪 10. Hopfen am See, Germany 🇩🇪 This is the town we usually stay at.
