"Kingssee" - the cleanest and most beautiful lake in Germany.

My love for taking pictures of lakes may be related to the fact that I have always lived by the West Lake. The ethereal surface of the lake is pleasing to the eyes, and the open and quiet lakeside is relaxing and pleasant. During this trip to Switzerland and Germany, we traveled among lakes and the Alps, which made us extremely happy. On the last day of the trip, we were lucky enough to come across Germany's "King's Lake". This was formed by glaciers during the last ice age. The average water depth is nearly 100 meters, and the deepest can reach 200 meters. It is the deepest lake in Germany. Legend has it that this was obtained by King Ludwig II of Bayern, who built the Neuschwanstein Castle, in exchange for a large amount of fertile land from the King of Austria. The name "King's Lake" is said to come from the surrounding mountains, one like a king, one like a queen, the small hills in the middle are their children, and there is also a lying Witch Peak in the distance. "King's Lake" is a long and beautiful lake. The Berchtesgaden National Park where it is located is a famous tourist destination in Germany. Lake Königssee is famous for its clear water, which is said to be drinkable. It is considered the cleanest and most beautiful lake in Germany. For this reason, since 1909 only electric boats, rowing boats and pedal boats have been allowed on the lake. King's Lake is surrounded by mountains in southern Bavaria. It was formed by glacier erosion and looks very much like a Nordic fjord. The water is green and clear, as smooth as a mirror, and as blue as jade. It is surrounded by steep mountains on all sides. It feels like a giant has chopped the mountains with an axe. Sailing through it by boat is like being in a fairyland. The boat I was on sailed to the "Echo Wall" in the center of the lake and stopped to drift in the lake. The lake here was wide and calm, and when everything was silent, the captain took out a golden trumpet and blew the tune of a Bavarian folk song. When the music is played, echoes are heard from the opposite cliff, forming a beautiful duet among the mountains. This is a regular program on the cruise ship, "Echoes from the King's Lake". I listened quietly to the echoes in the valley and felt the beauty of the gift from nature. But my eyes were always focused on the lake water. This magical emerald color of the water, which came from the melted glaciers, was breathtaking. As the boat passes a cape, Germany's most famous natural landscape appears. In the distance by the lake there is a red-roofed church with an onion-shaped dome. The semicircular apse of the chapel is divided into three symmetrical petals. This red-roofed church is called "St. Bartholomew's Chapel" and is the symbol of Lake Königssee. The shape is very unique, and the red roof is extremely eye-catching against the backdrop of the quiet valley and green lawn. This church, known as the "Onion Church", has a clear reflection in the turquoise water of the lake. The uniquely designed church is surrounded by green trees, with magnificent mountains in the background and low clouds surrounding the top of the mountain after the rain. The small and exquisite church complements the surrounding mountain scenery. This is the scenery on Germany’s postcards, and this is a close-up of Germany’s travel films. The boat docked at the lakeshore and headed straight to the destination. There were two restaurants next to the church. Inside, I saw a specimen of a large red trout caught in 1976. Of course, the signature dish here is the King Lake Trout. A piece of "smoked trout" + a bottle of German dark beer, the beautiful lake view + delicious food intoxicated me.
