A Grand Café in Pattaya

For this year's birthday trip, we decided to celebrate in Pattaya. We left Bangkok early in the morning and needed a caffeine fix before checking into our accommodation. While driving, we stumbled upon a grandly decorated café and couldn't resist stopping by. The café occupies a vast area and can accommodate a large number of people, easily two to three times the size of a typical café. Since we visited during a long holiday, the place was quite crowded, and we had to wait in line for about three turns before we could place our order. I ordered the Rosy Peachy for 170 baht, a cold brew mixed with apple, peach, and lemon. It was refreshing and perfect for someone like me who isn't a big coffee drinker. While waiting, we wandered around and found numerous photo spots. The highlight for me was their unique way of letting customers smell the coffee beans. They used an old-fashioned perfume atomizer, where you have to press to release the scent. It was quite a novel and impressive experience.
