Wat Phakho

#summerdream Wat Ratchaprathit or Wat Phakho is the oldest temple in Songkhla Province. It is estimated that it was built on the top of Phutthasing Mountain in 500 B.E., which is the center of administration of the city in the Songkhla coastal area. This temple used to be the residence of Luang Pho Kho, or as we know him, Luang Pu Thuat, who along with the legend of walking on the fresh seawater, also happened at this temple. Inside the temple, there are also many sacred relics and sacred objects that southern people respect and worship. It is another place full of interesting historical stories that you should try to experience.
