We stopped by a small shop recommended by a local and ordered a bowl of "Three-Colored Sea Urchin Donburi." When the bowl arrived, I was stunned! Sea urchins from various origins filled the entire bowl like a small mountain, their colors ranging from light orange to deep yellow, gleaming in the sunlight. I scooped a spoonful into my mouth; it was cool, creamy, and sweet, with a rich ocean aroma that melted in my mouth. There was no fishy smell at all, only a sense of complete bliss.
