#Sapporo Sakura As a traveler who likes to combine religion with the beauty of nature, Shinoji Shrine gave me a very unique experience. This small shrine on the outskirts of Sapporo is surrounded by cherry blossoms in the spring, creating a beautiful blend of the ancient and the new. The shrine itself is not large, but the architecture is antique and very photogenic when paired with the blooming cherry blossoms. When I stood under the torii and looked up at the flowers and trees, I felt a sense of peace and awe. There are not many tourists here and the atmosphere is extremely quiet, suitable for meditation, taking photos, or taking a quiet walk. If you are traveling to Sapporo and have half a day to spare, it is highly recommended that you stop by here to experience the quiet cherry blossom scenery that is different from the city.
