There are many trekking routes in the Sapa terraces, and it's easy to book half-day or full-day tours. In the afternoon, hike about 5 kilometers to Lao Chai Village through Muong Hoa Valley. The sloping dirt road is easy to walk, but along the way, Hmong women will follow you, chatting and selling goods. Although they are very polite, it can be a bit awkward, so just smile and walk quickly. The weather in the mountains changes quickly. When the clouds gather, the sunlight almost disappears, and the terraces after the harvest lose much of their charm.
