One of the best hotels to stay at in Sanya is the JW Marriott, Haitang Bay. The rooms and staff service at the Sanya JW Marriott Hotel are impeccable, making you feel right at home. The breakfast selection is also extensive. I stayed here last month during Jay's concert. The JW Marriott has an executive lounge, perfect for those needing to replenish their meals at any time. That's why I chose the JW Marriott Haitang Bay out of the two hotels, paying CNY 1,516 for two nights and getting an upgrade to an East Wing ocean view room. The room directly faces the lawn below, and you can hear the band performing every night, but there's also the smell of barbecue smoke. If you mind that, you might want to choose a room in the West Wing. This is a hotel complex, with several hotels from the Luneng Group, including its own brand, hotel apartments, and more, so the hotel area is quite lively. The Autograph Collection and JW Marriott share some outdoor spaces. There are quite a few Russian guests staying at the hotel now, which is quite interesting. The executive lounge has a decent variety of dishes, with about 3 types of fruit, 4 hot dishes, a noodle station, and a selection of salads and cold dishes, but the taste is not great. Outside the hotel is a coral conservation area. Be careful when the tide goes out and the coral reefs are exposed.
