The Best Value Family Hotel I Found in Sanya For our last two days in Sanya, we chose to stay near the airport at Sanya Bay in the Howard Johnson Resort. My favorite part was the JOJO Little Player gift pack they provided. My son insisted on carrying it himself every time we went to the pool. It even included a sun hat that my husband relied on for sun protection. This room type comes with a special kid's room key card. My son wore it every day and insisted on opening the door himself. The card also provides unlimited access to the indoor children's playground. Even two days after returning to Beijing, he still wants to wear his room key card. Please, can all family hotels offer kid's room cards? The hotel's "Octopus Tribe" offers numerous children's activities, and they're genuinely well-organized—not just for show. Even the bubble parties have themes and games, unlike other hotels. There are indoor activities like crafts, experiments, and woodworking, as well as outdoor activities, all very engaging. I heard they also have farm activities during holidays where children can learn about crops. I highly recommend the Octopus Tribe for children aged 3-6, especially the pool activities that are hard to find elsewhere. My favorite feature was the variety of beautiful swimming pools. The main pool overlooks a large lawn with a great view, the west area pool has a stylish design, and the children's pool with a water fort was my child's favorite—he didn't want to leave every day. While Sanya Bay's beach isn't as nice as Haitang Bay, the Coconut Dream Corridor area is still beautiful, with many pretty girls taking photos. The hotel has an underground passage directly to the Coconut Dream Corridor, making it convenient if your child wants to dig in the sand. I can confirm that the beach further to the right is almost empty, perfect for those seeking tranquility. The hotel has indoor playgrounds and outdoor non-powered slides and zip lines, plus several restaurants. Food delivery in Sanya Bay is very convenient. You can enjoy several days without leaving the hotel, and it's only a ten-minute drive to the airport, making it perfect for relaxing at the end of your trip.
