This time, I decided to come during the off-season to experience a different side of Sanya. After a friend's recommendation, I chose to stay at the Mandarin Oriental Sanya. My two-night stay allowed me to experience its unique charm, which sets it apart from other hotels in Sanya. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: I stayed in a twin room with a garden view. The room facilities were quite complete and met my daily needs, but the decor was relatively traditional, perhaps due to the hotel's age. The overall layout was reasonable and the space was spacious, allowing for a comfortable rest. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The hotel has a sauna. After swimming, I enjoyed the hotel's spa, which was a very relaxing experience. However, there were some minor issues with the maintenance of the amenities. I found sand in the bedding, which affected the comfort of my stay. The soundproofing could also be improved, as it was easy to be disturbed by noise from the neighboring room. 🍽️Dining: The hotel's breakfast buffet was quite extensive. I tried the lobster wontons and knife-cut noodles with egg tarts, and they all tasted great. The children also enjoyed the food, and there were no issues with food hygiene, which is commendable. 💰Average Spend: The price of over CNY 2,000 per night may be slightly high for some travelers looking for high value, but considering the hotel's unique environment and vacation experience, it is worth the price. The average spend will also increase depending on dining and extra services. 💗Other Tips: The hotel grounds are the biggest highlight and are perfect for off-season travel. The entire grounds offer a jungle experience, and every scene is beautiful. You can take photos without editing. There are fewer people during the off-season, and the vacation atmosphere is strong, as if you are in a natural oxygen bar. The pool has a slide, which is very popular with children, but parents must pay attention to supervision to avoid accidents. If you bring children, you can snorkel on the hotel's beach, led by a coach, for CNY 220 per person, plus an additional CNY 220 for photos. The photos are very clear when the weather is good, and the children can have a lot of fun. The hotel also offers Trip Moments services, with five free photos and a 15-second video. Additional photos are CNY 50 each, and professionally edited photos are CNY 80 each. There are a variety of packages to choose from. If you are looking for extensive facilities, there are many hotels in Sanya to choose from; but if you want an immersive vacation experience, the Mandarin Oriental Sanya is definitely a good choice. In terms of the atmosphere of the grounds, it is one of the best hotels in Sanya.
