Haitang Bay No. 9 Resort Hotel Review!

We stayed at No. 9 for two nights with our parents and child. Overall, the hotel service was excellent, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Check-in Experience: As soon as we got out of the car, a staff member helped us with our luggage. Because we had a child with us, we were upgraded to a family room for free. The room had a children's tent, rocking horse, and various other toys, which our child loved! The room was clean, the family room had many amenities for children, and the bathtub even had hot spring water, so we could enjoy a hot spring experience right in our room. Hotel Facilities: There's a private beach, an infinity pool, and a heated pool. There are so many lounge chairs by the sea! The lounge chairs and tents by the pool are great photo spots, and the large lawn is perfect for taking pictures with fewer people around. The landscaping is also lovely. There are many pools, covering a large area, and they are all beautiful. However, the water was a bit cold this season. You can enjoy the hot springs; there are several medicinal baths of various sizes. My parents loved soaking in the hot springs. The hot spring area has a heated pool with a suitable water temperature, and our child had a great time there. Free swimming rings are available in the hot spring area, and sand digging tools are provided on the beach. There's a slide and other facilities on the first floor, and a children's playground on the third floor with lots of building blocks and various toys. You can take your children there to play in the evening. Further inside from the children's playground is the gym, which has snooker and various fitness equipment. About Trip Moments: One free Trip Moments photoshoot is offered per room, with one outfit provided. Makeup is an additional charge, and you can also wear your own clothes. Five photos are included. Group photos of more than three people are charged separately and cannot be selected. Remember to bargain if you want more photos! About Dining: The breakfast buffet is pretty standard, but the variety is quite extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, including local specialties like Qing Bu Liang. My favorite was the noodles they cooked for breakfast, paired with yellow pepper sauce – it was amazing! I had several bowls. Dinner is a seafood buffet. There isn't a huge selection of seafood, so don't get your hopes up too high, and there weren't many people eating there. However, the roasted lamb chops were definitely worth mentioning! They were very flavorful, I loved them. You can order takeout to the hotel, as there aren't many dining options nearby. You can also eat at the hotel restaurant for lunch, but we didn't try it, so I can't comment on the lunch. Overall, the hotel doesn't have a lot of entertainment, it's not very big, and there aren't many facilities specifically for children, but it offers great value for money. The services you get for the price are excellent. It's suitable for a family trip with parents and children. The main advantages are the beautiful scenery and the lack of crowds! The pace is slow, you can take photos on the lounge chairs without anyone else in the frame. Compared to other family-friendly hotels that are crowded, you might not get the same level of service here. Fewer people definitely have their advantages.
