Travel Memories (Witnessing the Process of Fishermen Pulling in the Nets)

Witnessing the process of fishermen pulling in their nets on the beach of Sanya Bay is quite enjoyable. I don't know when the nets were cast, maybe early this morning, maybe yesterday, or even earlier. The process of pulling in the nets is quite spectacular. Two teams of strong men are stationed about a hundred meters apart, shouting 'hey yo' and 'come on' while pulling the net lines backwards. Each team has about 20 people, and the net line is probably several hundred meters long. Each person has a long, narrow wooden board hanging behind them. The ropes passing through both ends of the board converge in front of them into a single rope. At the top of the rope is a small ball. With a casual throw, the ball wraps around and is fixed on the net line. The net pullers lean their waists on the long wooden board and pull the fishing net backwards together through the backward force of their bodies. It saves time and effort. Indeed, every profession has its own tricks. The process of pulling in the nets takes about 2 hours. It seems that there are not many big fish in this net, only one eel, the rest are small swallow fish, and some scattered belt fish. I don't know if they can make back their costs. I deeply feel that life is not easy, and we need to cherish every moment!
