Santorini - A summer bucketlist

Who doesn't know Santorini? That incredible picture you must have seen and wondered and wished for it. I think the time has come. A summer holiday in Santorini is on the bucket list for this lifetime. While some would argue that there are prettier places in Greece. But if you wish to touch the most famous of them. Then Santorini it is. One such summer break, i spent 8 days in Santorini, of which i decided to spend half the time in Kamari and half in Oía. Kamari is especially famous for its black beach spending hours in the shade and reading was so relaxing. Oía, on the other hand is the town with the blue domes which you must have seen only a 100 times in pictures on social media. Although, both these places were worth it. I also suggest you stay in Fira if you have the time. I feel it is a more central location. And so from Fira, you can go on day trips more easily and explore the whole island. In the island’s south, you can also find an ancient city that was once buried due to volcanic activity. It is very interesting to visit it as you can exactly see how people used to live there. Apart from this village you can also see a prettier thing: a red sanded beach, which might be one of the most picturesque things I was able to see. This could go on and on.
