An unforgettable Lunar New Year trip to Chengyang Bazhai in Sanjiang, Liuzhou!

Chengyang Bazhai is located in Sanjiang County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province. The village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with stilted buildings scattered around, drum towers standing tall, and green mountains in the distance⛰. The scenery is very beautiful. During the Lunar New Year, there is a traditional Dong collective wedding. On New Year's Eve, the "bride stealing" ceremony is mysterious and interesting. On the first day of the New Year, the bride fetches water, on the second day, the groom's family holds a banquet, and on the third day, the bride returns to her family. Every step is full of ethnic customs, which gave me a deeper understanding of Dong culture☺. The folk activities during the Lunar New Year👀 are also colorful. The villagers block the road and open the village gate to welcome us, the guests from afar, in a unique way. The Dong wedding performance and the "Dong Love" show vividly present the love stories and cultural traditions of the Dong people. At the Dong village banquet, everyone sits together, tasting🥢 the special food of the Dong people, laughing and chatting, and having a great time. The "Sitting Sister Sanjiang" show is also not to be missed! ⏰It starts at 8⃣ pm every night from January 31. The gorgeous lights, wonderful dances, and beautiful music perfectly present the history, culture, and life of the Dong people, which is really fascinating.
