🕌 Mon Bridge is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand. It is a cultural center of Mon, Burmese and Thai people, which is the identity of Sangkhlaburi. I came and fell in love with this place so much. We visited during the rainy season. The air was very fresh. We felt the mist and the freshness of the rain. I must say that it was so awesome. In the morning, there is an alms giving ceremony like the Mon people. Most visitors dress like the Mon people. There are both Mon costumes and souvenirs for sale near the bridge. While we were walking along the bridge, we saw local children waiting to apply Thanaka powder to tourists. They also acted as guides. They walked and told us the history of the bridge.
