Pay respect to Luang Pho Uttama at Sangwiwekharam Temple

And what you can't miss in Sangkhlaburi is to pay homage to Luang Pho Uttama at Wat Wang Wiwekharam. 🛕 The trip is not difficult. For those who have time and are not bored with sightseeing 🚶 You can walk across the wooden bridge, walk through the community to the back, a distance of about one kilometer. 🛵 Or if it's more convenient, you can drive on the same route as the Buddha Gaya Pagoda. You can park your car in the temple. 📌 Wat Wang Wiwekharam or Luang Pho Uttama Temple is a temple that Luang Pho, along with Karen and Mon villagers, built together. It was originally a small temple. Now it has developed a lot, but still maintains the art of Mon mixed with Thai. 🙇 For those who go, there is a highlight that I would like to recommend, which is to pay homage to the statue of Luang Pho at the Luang Pho Shrine. Next to it is the marble Buddha statue shrine and the Buddha Gaya Pagoda replica. On the day we went, there happened to be a merit-making event, so we made merit and got a wooden rosary.
