Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre｜A place where humans and nature coexist in harmony

🌟Highlights: The Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is dedicated to protecting orangutans, also known as "Borneo wild men," which researchers believe are one of the primates most closely related to humans. Established in 1964, the center covers 45 square kilometers and is currently the largest orangutan rehabilitation center in the world. Visitors may also have the chance to see endangered animals such as the Sumatran rhinoceros. 👍Recommended: The tourist routes in the center are all made of wooden walkways, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the entrance to the observation deck. Once you reach the observation deck, you can see orangutans playing on platforms between two trees and swinging on ropes hanging from the trees. ✅Must-try: At 10:00 am and 3:00 pm every day, the staff will feed the orangutans on the platform, and visitors can watch the orangutans eating and playing. 👍Visit the nursery: The center opened a nursery area in October 2014, where visitors can watch young orangutans playing on large climbing frames. 🧳The center has an exhibition room, a specimen room, an information center, a nature education center, and more.
