🇩🇴Mercado 📍Location: San Pedro de Macorís 🕰️Opening hours: 6:00-16:00 (closes when sold out) It's nice to go to famous tourist spots, restaurants, and resorts when traveling abroad, but for those who want to know more about the country you're visiting, we recommend going to a market where locals go🪺 It's a place where you can see the ingredients and seasonings unique to the area and experience the food culture with your own eyes. About 80km east of the capital of the Dominican Republic, there is a regional city called San Pedro de Macorís, and we went to the morning market there! Fresh mangoes, papayas, edible bananas, spices, etc., from familiar things to things I've never seen before, it was an exciting and fun time🥭 The mangoes and coconuts I bought here were fresh and delicious! #0 yen trip January 2025
