San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles

This is a hidden gem of San Jose. Small museum but very well kept with interesting textile art. You would have to come here and appreciate the artwork of these artists. The quilt technique and the fabrication that they used are incredibly intricate Some were visually stunning, others with gorgeous handmade textiles or even paper, still others displayed incredible quilting craftsmanship. Most artists specified the meaning or message of their work, which deepened out appreciation. Gift shop is small and cute and it comes with a nice sturdy hand made bag made by volunteers when you buy something.
